Anchor Community Caregiver Academy (A2CA) is a faith-centered nonprofit training institution founded with a heart for healing and hope. Born out of both a calling and a crisis, our founder experienced firsthand the desperate need for trained, compassionate support in communities experiencing trauma, grief, and crisis.
In response, Anchor Academy was established to equip caregivers, chaplains, and trauma responders with professional, heart-led education rooted in faith-based values. With over 20 years of experience in trauma, grief, and loss across clinical, community, and spiritual settings, we are dedicated to cultivating caregivers who can bring light into life’s darkest moments.
At A2CA, we believe healing begins when someone shows up—with presence, patience, and purpose. Our name reflects our mission: to be anchored in care, rooted in Christ, and steadfast in service.
Building Competence with Compassion
Anchor Community Caregiver Academy offers:
Professional Development – Continuing education and mentorship programs for frontline caregivers, volunteers, and ministry workers.
Caregiver Support/Groups – Trauma-informed care grounded in faith for in hospitals, homes, shelters, and community settings.
Chaplains & Faith Leaders Program – Grow and be encouraged in your walk alongside those in crisis, enhance your spiritual strength, biblical counsel, and emotional presence.
Trauma Coach Enrichment Program – Gain practical tools to help individuals and families navigate grief, loss, and recovery, empowered with faith-based care.
Community Support Networks – Be part of a supportive network of faith-based caregivers and leaders serving communities in crisis.
